last week I hit the supermarket and loaded up on all my favorite junk foods: Krispy Kreme donuts frozen pizza and Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey ice cream. It’s not for me–it’s for my husband I rationalized as I pushed the cart up and down the aisles. Never mind that my husband was going on a business trip the next day or that I work from home and am prone to mid-afternoon snacking. h and did I mention that I’m on a diet? I spent that hour of shopping in complete denial. Experts would argue that my actions are a clear sign of self-sabotage preventing me from achieving the much-desired goal of fitting into my skinny jeans. “Everyone knows someone who does it–the coworker who whines about not getting a promotion when she’s chronically late or the woman who complains she’s not getting enough attention from her husband even though she’s constantly sniping at him” says Carol Kauffman Ph.

I’ve rarely had a problem with escalations getting replacement parts etc. In short Dell has consistently delivered a quality product for an active 45 person business. I cannot speak for the home user but for business purposes I am satisfied. Posted by: Jon Chorney at February 2 2007 12:37 PM K so I worked at Dell for many years. IE if customer experience sucks spend money to fix it… We’ve also reduced the number of phone queues by 38 percent making it much less likely that customers end up in the wrong place. Transfers are down 62 percent since the start of last year and we’ve seen a 10 percent increase in customer satisfaction for tech support where we’ve implemented these changes. We are not yet where we want to be and will continue to work hard to regain our leadership on this front. In addition to these service and support changes there are a couple product investments that you ought to consider before suggesting nothing is going on. For example: Dell’s new XPS 710 H2C for PC enthusiasts and high end gamers is a first incorporating a two-stage cooling process. Earlier in the year we introduced the XPS M2010 which has been recognized as a product that breaks boundaries and is designed to meet a unique market need. It won a CES 2007 Best Innovations Award.

Recent history has shown that the government may not have the resources or the ability to take full control during highly disruptive global events. The public will look to businesses to help ensure that basic services are provided and they will expect companies to work assiduously to get life back to ‘normal’ as soon as possible. Companies may also have an opportunity to expand or adapt their business to respond to a crisis.
